I do hope you aren't offended, but OH bought one of these this morning and I'd already bought similar. I'd be happy to send the one she ordered on to you at no charge when it arrives.
That's really kind of you Gazebocurtains, thanks.

Just posted about this in another thread. We tried the foam mats for the first time on camp beds this past weekend, and they were great. I probably slept better than on the airbed.

Katherine2008 - the self-inflating double camp mat has arrived.

Not sure of the best way to get an address to send it to you, any suggestions (that is if you still want it)?

EDIT: Scratch that. My wife just opened it to make sure it's whatt we thought it was and it's not the double one, it's a single. Not sure where the double one is...

Just read this thread and there are some great tips for keeping warm! I just wanted to add that if space is an issue due to you having to carry stuff  try and get hold of a thermal picnic rug...they are perfect for putting under mats and double up as somewhere to sit during the day!

http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?type=4&campid=5336267448&toolid=10001&customid=&mpre=http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D350194650411&ih=022&category=19296&ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1

....that sort of thing ,but I am sure you can pick them up cheaper than that! Also you can get thermal mats so together they should give good insulation.

Thanks! Happy camping to you too!

Always happy to pass on tips regarding a bargain! I'd say try the cheap ones first, then if you like them you can upgrade to the self inflating ones at a later date.
