Hi, we bought the outwell table and chairs and used it recently. For some reason when I ordered it I thought the top was hard plastic so was a little disappointed to find it's fabric.

It is a bit rubbish for eating your dinner, everything slides to the middle and you can't put mugs in the cup holders, only slimline beakers. The chairs however, are strong and comfortable. We are considering selling the table but will def keep chairs.

Hope that helps in some way,
Tess

I just got a great aluminium roll-up table from Costco for £22 or so - really light and sturdy, but quite long (but slim) when packed into bag. Looks similar to this herebut that's Canadian!

I am after another table too! Think I may well take a look at Costco at the weekend! Also like the look of the bench one but obviously the price is higher

I have the square version (90 X 90) one of these. Quest Bamboo Table.

It folds flat. The legs scre off at half length so it can be a low table or a dining table. The bottoms of the legs also unscrew little height adjustments, so handy of you're on a slope.  We eat at it (family of 4) using our normal folding camping chairs (with arms).  Being square we all fit around it easily with full size plates. The top is not slidey either. Here's a pic of it in action!

I bought mine at a local camping shop but its available online here http://www.downshireleisure.com/shop/viewdetails.asp?ID=760&catID=1&subCatID=52

I saw that Outwell set in Go Outdoors - the deal is you buy the chairs and the table comes free -  its a great looking set and the chairs are excellent - however that table !  how impractical is that!!!!!

I tried to find somewhere that selles just the chairs - but so far no luck !

As for tables - well the best one I have found for sensible money is the £48 Dukdalf Accordien - Nice fold flat heavy table 4 adjustable legs - solid !   check this out -
