Good o rochford6, our little one had only just been out for a few seconds to do her business and had just brushed past some taller plants/grass, so it must be really easy to pick the blighters up.  To be honest I'm a little paranoid now which isn't a good thing when you own a dalmatian with lots of little spots/ticks/spots/ticks/spots 17 .......no no good I'm going to have to check that spot out again just to make sure it's not another TICK!  Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! 17

If you buy spot on flea and tick treatment you need to apply every 4 weeks from mar to Nov and this help keep them at bay.

Our Dog got Deer Ticks after a weekend in Northumberland, never again

Never burn them and if you do use correct removers ensure you have removed everything and followed instructions. Ticks burrow in deeper if not tackeled properly.

TICKS are dangerous to humans as well and in certain parts of europe they can cause Tick Bourne Encephalitis :- check this website out http://www.tickalert.org/.

Our cat (on the pic17) had loads once but our lovely vet removed them for free.
