Hi Moonbow, I have the 4m with SIG primarily for camping in colder weather, and also so that I can carry it myself as it is very heavy and carrying a 5m may just about have seen me off! If no inner, then fine for three, but I have the inner which greatly cuts down the space, however usually just two of us. I would get a utility tent to put all the camping kit in and just keep the lovely spacey bell tent for chilling.
Bionic, your tent looks cool, will try to put my piccies up and your dog is adorable, wish we had one! Yours looks like a Disney dog, he (or she) is very expressive!

Thanks Liverbird (i was thinking of a utility tent for mess with a 4m)
I thought that about the dog.......it looks like it's laughing!

Well funnily enough...I was at a fete thing today and for kiddies craft they'd set up a 5m bell tent. Perfect. I got to spend time in it and suss it out with my husband and it's really helped.
So we're going 5m, it didn't seem way too big, things are different when you're out on a field than when you're measuring at home.
Feeling positive and are going for the optimistic roll-the-sides-up version too.
Can go large on the mattress then too.
Thanks for all your help.

Freebird

What sort of mosquito net do you have and how do you attach it to the pole?

Many thanks
