Absolutely get the real thing. They are brilliant little cookers and really well built. I have had mine now since 1984 and still works like it did on day one. It has been tested to it's limit as I only ever use it for fishing trips, so it does get abuse from time to time.
Make sure you get the non stick frying pan at least. I have the aluminium one without the non stick coating and beleive me, most of the food sticks to it especially eggs. Might be a good idea to get the gas burner and hose as well.
