I can't remember which colour it is but one of the ones used in hi-viz jackets really attracts the insect population...........

yellow attracts the wasps and bees more than orange

we use orange at the racetrack as yellow can get mostaken for a yellow flag, i always carry either a jacket or tabard in the car, usually part of my marshalling kit anyway
