We use normal toilet and use Elsan Organic toilet fluid in the toilet, this breaks down waste, etc, and we've never had a problem with it clogging the toilet up or anything. Then again ours only has a lid to unscrew to empty it, and a large hole to do so, so there isn't really anything for it to get stuck on.
