As I am a newcomer to this forum. Maybe I better understand how this forum works.

If I have a topic I wish to comment on or gauge someones opinion or to see if a previous threads contents theme could be added to. Rather than adding to an existing thread of the same topic, it would be preferred for a new thread to be started?

Seems to be a bit strange to me when on any other forums you are asked to add to an existing thread where possible.

This threads topic is about price matching for a specific company, not about the item being price matched.

Please advise if i am posting incorrectly as I would hate to offend anyone!!!

I think sometimes it gets confusing people think ohh fab price on a cadaver and rush to look can't find it at the Said price then notice the date of the post :)


In the scheme of things either way works for me :)

Had a similar thing in blacks a couple of years back, wanted to buy two Osprey rucksacs, saw them on the net but whilst in town thought I would look in Blacks, said I had seen them on the net and wanted two, so would they do anything on the price, was told they would price match if i brought in aprintout of the net shop. Spent half an hour in town printing it out and went back to blacks, to be told that they only price matched to the high street and that the girl I had spoken to had misinformed me. He offered me 5% as a member of the C&CC, which was still about £40 over the price I had found on the net. So guess what.
