Oops it looks like I have started something here! We did not buy the cadac just to fry chips, it just that we had planed on haveing them and thought we would try the cadac out as some people have stated that they were not up to boiling water.
Also I am not suggesting anybody else trys cooking chips on a cadac. I have just posted what we did to show that a cadac is up to cooking things at a high heat safely if properly attended to.
