We put the pillows on the air bed and then the fitted sheet over the airbed and pillows, so basically the fitted sheet keeps the pillows in place.

Very particular about my pillow too, only use duck/goose down& feather (mm17)& always hug mine anyway, or sleep with my hands under pillow. Like a few others also have Vango bag with hood. That combination seems to keep mine firmly in place !
