Not sure 2 extensions would be a great idea and would it be safe?

The general rule is that only 1 thing that creates heat can be used at once and surely everything is not going to be used at one time?

That means less extensions needed :)

Extensions are probably not the best idea, a short one would be ok though.
If you require more sockets ALWAYS use the 4 way adaptors on a short lead (or similar 2,3 or 6 way). They are all fused & you can't over load them. I would advise anyone against using the plug-in block/cube type adaptors, as these can sometimes pull themselves out slightly (under their own weight in some cases), which causes a bad connection & can cause arcing, heat & possibly fire. This is not only for camping, I also advise strongly against using them in the home as well.

Edit; Angie, I think Tinolan was talking more of the short 4way on a lead type of things, rather than an actual extension. These are by far the best way of getting more sockets.

My Sunncamp wheelie EHU has 4 sockets: tent light, heater, kettle, laptop. If I need to charge the phone, I just unplug the kettle as I don't have hot drink much except in the mornings.

I have used a normal multi-socket extension lead with a fuse in the pass, and I made sure it was off the ground and nowhere near water etc. etc...

Yes i was and only use a 1M or 2M max length lead. definatly not a wind up extension.

PS Another thing to check is the fuses in appliance as more than often the fuses in the plugs are 13A and do not need to be that high.

Ahhh! I didn't realise you could use plug in extensions seems obvious now - duh!  I thought I only had the 3 plugs in the EHU unit.
