Hi Guys & Girls - Having more problems, tried the Goodmans TV but would not tune in, in the Motorhome.  Took it in the house and works fine with all the freeview channels.  Took it back to the van and still the same showing 'no signal' will not even analogue TV.  Will go for a drive tomorrow and try in different locations.  We are in a weak signal area, so hopefully that will resolve it.

Does anyone know, how is the aerial coax fitted inside the pole on a status 530 aerial?  Is it soldered in, screwed or on a plug?  Can it come loose and require resecuring?  I ask because I have tried all the troubleshooting tips on the instruction leaflet and nothing has worked and wonder could all the rises, falls and tilting loosen the coax at the top of the aerial?  Thank you - Barbarian

Hi Guys & Gals, I have posted another message but I seem to have placed it in the wrong place!    Any way I still can't get any channels on the new TV.  It works fine in the house but as soon as I get in the van - no signal!  I have a Status 530 Digital Amplifier aerial that all seems to be ok until I connect the TV!  On advice of a very good CaravanTechnical Manager I went to Maplins and bought a 12v connection kit to bypass the inverter but still no good, I will perservere.

On another topic, if I can start one in the middle of another, we had a Gaslow system fitted to the Motorhome yesterday.  Took the option not to have any holes drilled to fit the filler but mounted it inside the gas locker door, so if we change vans it will come with us, too expensive to leave behind!  Just hope it works going to fill the 2 x 6kg tanks for the first time on Friday (13th Opps!)

Going awat tomorrow without the laptop so will be out of the game until a week on Sunday, will let you know if we resolve the TV problem and how the gas goes, Barbarian
