You will notice as you get older that us incontinents got over the problem buy buying a caravan. Duracel are not long enough for oldies through the night. Maybe till then the old Tenna packs throught the night would assist

In theory if you put a light onto the outer wall of the tent it should shine your reflection back into the main part of the tent and disperse. We have a coleman porch light that has a magnectic base and a metal plate so it can attach to the tent fabric as long as it's not going to get know about too much.

Not everyone has concerns over privacy apparently. As my brother was leaving the campsite on an extremely wet morning last week he drove past a couple sitting in their car completely naked. Presumably they had nothing dry left to wear and were attempting to dry out.

The main thing is to ensure that the light used is not too bright for the fabric around you!

If you also have the bright light level to you so that it throws shadow onto the fabric, then it is likely to cause shadow!

I sell & fit Blinds & Curtains, so this is a regular question I get asked! In the case of e.g. a Bathroom, most lights are high, throwing shadow downwards & most people stand at least 18" away from the window.

Same therefore applies to tent fabrics!

Most sites are at least partially lit, so this will ease your concerns, as the lighter it is outside the less risk of shadow from inside the tent causing you concern.

 A bright light in the tent can have such incredibly funny results - remember the tent scene in I think it was Austin Powers 2.

we have a fairly high tent and our not too bright light hangs from the to over us.

looking from outside really all that could be seen was diffused shapes of light, nothing more whatsoever. but yes its very handy having a thetford there when your bursting at 4 am lol
