We've camped with our two, now 5 and 7, since the youngest was a toddler. I must admit we've now upgraded to a trailer tent so we can pack things more easily.
I hate supermarkets when I know where aeverything is, so loathe them on holiday, so we've started online shopping, done in advance and delivered to our pitch the day we arrive - sorted!!!

Wow that's a good idea! I always have my shopping delivered online at home, never thought about it being delivered on holiday! How does that work? Does the campsite not mind a grocery van turning up?
we are a family of 4 with kids much the same age as your own we have a citroen picasso and still couldnt get all our stuff in without a trailer.
something i learned a few years ago its always best to take as much equipment as possible as you will have to buy whilst there. and then comes the problem of repacking the car with the extra gear you have purchased whilst away and it wont all fit in the car. either get a trailer or at least a roof box just to give you more room for necessitys
Don't know about other sites but not a problem at 'our's! Typical though I said big blue tent to left of reception building, and then there were four big blue tents!!! But we were the only people that jumped up when they arrived so they assumed it was ours!!
Just ordered online as usual but made sure we used campsite address for delivery and gave directions in the box for directions online! We used Adsa as no others delivered there, they said they'd started getting more deliveries to campsites, so I'm guessing it's getting more common to do now, so I'm sure most sites would be fine with it!
I am convinced that we are taking more stuff with us now we have a folding caravan than we did when we had a tent. Even with packing half the stuff in the 'van our car is full and we aren't taking beds with us. We have one less person and one less dog. I just looked at our list and couldn't believe we had that much stuff never mind intend taking it away with us.
