We needed them too for our trip next week to Pillaton.  I was struggling to get any at a decent price and eventually had to fork out 8.99 for a four pack from Millets.  I have bought the cheaper ones from B&M before and found that they didnt last very long and a few even leaked.
I found the B and M ones also didnt last long..... Im off into town at 9 am pronto tomorrow to get the CampingGaz ones from Boyes - same ones Millets sell but 12 for £14.99.Hope they have some left.....

Well I go to my local camping shop and they have them in all year round. Supermarkets and stores that try and get into camping as they think its an easy sale will not have them in as it is a seasonal item. Remember if you don't use your local camping store it will disapear and where will you be able to look and touch stuff then??

Think long term.

In the recent past Ive bought most of mine( when they have been on offer ). from Go Outdoor which is the only camping shop local to me other than Milletts. If both of these would sell them at a competitive price Id buy them there again.

All my cooking , etc. is done using these so Ill shop round.

I buy plenty of other gear from the local camping shops so do support them very well.

My local hardware shop has some right barginz at the moment. £15 for one of those suitcase cookers (available everywhere else for £5 to £10, and gas canisters...... £2 EACH! Prefer petrol myself....readily available everywhere, and far more cooking for the money even compared with bargain priced cylinders.

Towsure are consistently cheap at about £5 for 4 with decent gas weight in them, less if you are C&C members

Yeomans sell pukka CP250s and sometimes have deals in store, but you have to go in to the shop as they dont put the gas deals on internet (?!). The Boyes deal sound excellent - not sure if we have one near Sheffield

Though we are good for a while after the B&Q clear out when we got 16 x 220gm canisters for less than £14 - none left in Sheffield last time we looked mind

theres a guy on ebay doing em for a quid a piece, but only when bought in bulk.

I bought 28 a while ago and including postage worked out at £1 each.

here is one such ad, but can't remember if it is the same seller or not?
