all my camping gear is in 2 large garden storage boxes, shelving unit and hanging hooks in the garage apart from the sleeping bags, fitted sheets and thermal toppers which live in the airing cupboard.

My garage is enourmous and I still wish it was bigger!!!

A couple of years ago I decided our integral garage was just too small for anything other than a mini (cars in the 50's when the house was built must have all been tiny!). The cars had lived on the drive for years so, as I desperately needed some indoor office space I decided to build out from the existing garage to accommodate the pc, files etc etc. Well, that would have made the new room very long & narrow so I had a brainwave!! As we were losing the garage space (which housed all the usual clutter) I asked the builder to put up a stud wall to section off a third - using the existing small side door from the garage meant I had my much needed study and also a small integrated room with only 1 outside wall and an external door to, supposedly, house all the 'garage junk'. But of course while the building was going ahead, all the 'garage junk' had to find a new home, most of it in the shed or the loft. And of course, when the building work was complete, I don't need to ask you to guess what went into the new 'room' do I?  The garage junk remaine in the shed/loft and all my camping stuff has a lovely little house, warm, dry & snug and safe from harm. Here it is when it was starting to fill up!!

Yes, there's even carpet on the floor!
