Have to agree with Piglet about the junior bags actually. The reason that mummy bags are the most efficient for warmth is because there's less `dead space'.

Vango sonno comfort taken from the Vango website
Differential Fill with 600g/mē on the top and 300g/mē for the base

Fill weight g/m2: 2 x 125 & 1 x 200 top / 2 x 125 base
How does that make a top fill of 600g/m2 using my maths the top fill is 450g/m2

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again

hiya,
we went our first camp last weekend with a 2yr&4yr old.
my kids have junior bags as they are still very small.last weekend we had cardboard on the bottom, then picnic rugs, then airbeds, couple of fleece over the airbed, kids had pjs, also a fleece all in one.(they were cozy)we all had. hot water bottles.
ps i just bought the outwell lux and i have to say it was amazing, just like sleeping in a duvet, sooo comfy, didn't feel cold at all,did have thermals on as well

Sounds obvious but don't forget thick socks - makes all the difference if it's a bit chilly and our kids (8 & 4) tend to wear a few layers, not just pjs which seems to help.
