Well in my case two were in herited. I bought the very first one when me and ex-OH bought our first tt and it stays in the tt. The second one was given to us by his brother and sil as they got a new one when they got the caravan - then we we got the caravan off them we also got the loo. But having completely refurbished the caravan inside and out I decided to get a new loo, hence the Fiamma Bi-pot.

I bought a bog in a bag (google it) which is lightweight and portable, but i wouldn't use it if drunk. It;s a bag system so no cleaning, Our 4 yr grandchild refused point blank as it looked "a bit wobbly*. Can;t argue with that, Since then have seen Bio Toi which is a bit more robust and if I hadn't already spent £20 I would buy this.

I'm bewildered at the number of posts from folk that have three or four different bogbuckets. The question is "WHY"
We've got three Thetford Portaloos and a bucket (well two buckets actually!).
The first portaloo was given to us by a lovely lady who used UKCS, they had bought a camper van so didn't need the separate loo.
We bought the second one at a car boot sale for around £15 as we thought it would be useful to use for spare or repair
Then we found the same model brand new in its box at a boot sale for the same amount of money and couldn't resist it!
We have discussed taking his and her bogs!
We take a bucket with lid and a WAG bag if we go to a site with loos where we just need something for overnight use. If we go somewhere that the portaloo is our main or only loo then we use the portaloo as everything is shut away below the flap!
