I don't understand the product's claim to save water? Most campsites explain having the push button ones because they make people spend less time in the shower thus saving money by using less water. If I had spent 5 mins fiddling with that to get it on in the first place i think i would be likely to take a longer shower to justify it.
Then, i am one of those who doesn't find pushing the button a problem. I do wish there were always temperature controls though, the setting on showers without is generally ever so slightly too cool for me. Full marks to the CC and the C&CC, on the club sites I have visited, the showers have been free, not push button and with temperature controls. Club sites are also often so much cheaper than privately owned sites with the same level of facilities, that the membership fee is soon 'repaid'.
