I'm tempted to look into buying camp beds for me and hubby... As much as I love our double height air beds they take up heck of a lot of room, they're 1m wide each and the bedroom pod in our new tent is 2m wide meaning we'll have to take out the partition between our room and the walk in wardrobe...one of the main reasons I bought the Maritsa is because of the spare inner to use for clothes storage and for the Kampa khazi but to do that we'll have to compromise on the beds and get something narrower!
If we buy 65cm camp beds that will save 70cms which would give us space to get in and out of bed.....decisions decisions. There's one camp bed in Argos which has a lot of positive reviews, I'm sorely tempted!
Also I'm thinking of the time it will save time when striking camp....although our air beds are relatively quick to inflate, deflating them and getting them rolled up and back in the bags is another matter!

I have the same design beds as HEJC72 but a named brand but I find like someone else has mentioned I need extra padding because I feel the cold air circulating underneath and it goes into my hips and shoulders, but the ease of putting them up and down in seconds outweights this (got 4 to put up). I was fed up of the air beds taking so long to put up and down.
How much room do the camp beds take up when folded though? At the moment we take 2 x double mattresses and thats the amount of space we can replace in the car, am I right in thinking they are going to take up a lot more room than that? I like the idea I am sure they will be much more comfortable for my poor back.
I have just bought 2 Yellowstone campbeds from ebay,( from a company called Direct 2 public) They arrived 2 dayd after ordering. They were £14.50 each and free delivery, to me they look exactly like the argos ones. I havnt tried them yet, but i was so fed up with the blow up bed going down. They fold up to roughtly the same size of the camp chairs the you fold up and put into the bag. easy
