When we used airbeds we had foil backed picnic rugs followed by the airbed with thermal fleece topper (from Dunelm Mill) and a fitted sheet (we had the Coleman ones) Then a good quailty sleeping bag and if it was really cold, a fleece blanket on top! I feel the cold a lot and was always warm with that set up.
However, after having the airebds collpase in the middle of the night, we now use camp beds which are sooooo comfortable and warm!
We took a rug like a large bath mat to put under ours and then forgot to put it down as it was hiding in the car. We woke in the morning to discover the airbed had gone down (hubby picked the wrong one up). As we had a memory foam topper on top of the bed it didnt wake us. Also had a sleeping bag opened out on top of that and then our big quilt. Went out and replaced the air bed and just popped it on top of the deflated one. We were as snug as a bug although when we did pack up there was a big puddle between the two airbeds and underneath, which wiped up with a towel and no we didnt have an accident after too many gins.
I have a tent carpet, airbed, sleeping bag, flannalette fitted sheet, ME, feather duvet and blanket.
This week I was toasty warm on top but could feel the cold underneath, I used my waterbottle but the heat left that at about 3.30 and I woke up cold. In the end in addition to the above I also wore my trackies tucked into socks a thermal top, fleece and a hat - very attractive
When I de-camped the sleeping bag that was on the bed and the airbed itself were both very damp - I suppose my warm body and the cold air from the bed - not even the insulating between the 2 seemed to do any good. I am now thinking of a small electric blanket.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
we have the foil backed picnic rugs in the bedroom covering the floor, on the airbed we have a thermal fleece topper, then a fitted sheet to sleep on, then a flat sheet 2 fleece blankets, and our sleeping bag with and extra 2 blankets if it gets cold.
I do sleep in thermal PJ's and socks always very warm, also have OH to cuddle upto to keep warm.

2013 Nothing as yet , trying to get new boyfriend to go camping soon. Selling Maritisa 700 , so we can put it towards a VW Camper.
I have a foam/plastic backed picnic rug under the airbed then a fleecy double mattress protector on top and our sleeping bag on that. A hat and extra layer on our top halfs was necessary this April as I was colder without. Strangely my feet were toasty.
------------- A problem shared is a problem halved
We have a big, thick, wool Belgian/Dutch army blanket from a surplus supplier. It was only about £18 and it's so thick and warm. I'll let you know in a few weeks how it works under the SIMs :P
Didn't even think about it til now. Never used anything before, but will be making room for our cheap roll mats to go under and a couple of extra fleecy blankets.
Just used to deal with the cold before. Might actually do something about it now, make us warm and comfy!
