Oooh, cheers purplerain, will do a bit of investigating to see if it will fit and come back to you, if that's OK? Wouldn't want to take it if someone else would get better use.
no trolley/loungers in my local store and no-one to ask if they are getting any in. I saw a trolley in Aldi but only took 10kg so not strong enough. Lidl had a huge bucket on wheels type thing for the garden which takes 60kilos but it may be a little big to take on the train - don't think I would be very popular with fellow travellers!

Those solar showers make me laugh. Can you imagine it ever being warm enough in the UK to use one?
We used to use ours a lot when the kids were smaller - it was fantastic on the beach - we used to fill it up from the stream when we first arrived, lay it out on the rocks, and by the time it was time to come home I could hose the sand and salty water off the kids with warm water so they didn't complain!
It's amazing how warm they can get in even moderate sunshine.
Bought a coolbox from the Devizes store (we were passing through) at lunchtime today - they had about 10 on the shop floor. Branded 'RockTrail.
It's been working now (empty) for about 3 hours on mains - cooled to 8 Deg C with room temperature 21-22 Degrees and set to max. They claim a delta T of 17 Deg, with food pre-cooled. Fairly quiet fan - but even quieter on 'eco' mode (which is the setting we'll probably use at night). Switched to 'eco' mode over last hour and temperature at bottom gone up to 13 Deg. Looks very well made and worth the £39.99 asking price. Volume is 29 Litres and will take 2L bottles standing up. We are very impressed with this product since it operates at 12V and 230V.
