Only this morning I was reading the instructions on my stove and it said the canister must be removed completely from the stove when not in use. I've always done that anyway, and store them upright in my camping box
This is what I've always done and will probably continue to do. I was just thinking of space saving especially when I just take one cannister on a picnic
Its the safest solution and they don't take up much storage room.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
