"freesat" uses a lower case "f".

"Freesat from Sky" uses an upper case "F".

                This is one of the reasons why they use a Spot Beam, so the content providers don't insist on soft encryption, the last battle was Ch5 due to the films they show, before Ch5 moved onto the Spot Beam transponder, Ch5 had to be encrypted, as it was previously on one of the Wide Beam transponders, not good news for Ch5 at the time as they had to pay millions each year for there station to be encrypted, and who owns part of the the encrypion company, yes Sky of course. the old Sky encyption used to be VideoCrypt for analogue, but that got hacked to death, which was one of the reasons Sky made the swift but expensive move to digital, using VideoGuard for encryption, although far more secure is still well hacked, and shared between users of Dream Box's, although the encryption provider NDS strive to counteract hacked encryption coding.

When Ch5 moved onto Astra2D and went FTA Sky spat thier dummy out, and said Ch5 then had to pay millions to be listed on the Sky EPG, so there was a period of time maybe a year or so when without an upto date freesat viewing card or Sky subscription card, you could only view Ch5 via the add channels menu, which was a faff to say the least.
