To melmel74 re Party Grill
The Party Grill is great - I use mine a lot as a BBQ when I can't be bothered waiting for charcoal to burn, and as a second burner - my primary stove is a suitcase style, but:
  • It needs a wind break to be effective
  • The piezo ignition does clag up easily
  • the control knob can be stiff. I used to worry about breaking it, but now I'm not very gentle
  • the non stick is really soft - be careful with it.

We use one outside the van if the weather is nice and using a paella pan or decent size frying pan, you can cook a meal with just one burner.

We bought a new double stove last year and were very disappointed with it, so this year we purchased a second suitcase stove and took them instead, much more powerful and speedy to cook on and no bulky gas bottle.
