WARNING Plus Customer Service said no refunds on returns only credit note WARNING!if they cease trading credit notes useless, do they have cash flow issues?
Sounds like standard Sports Direct Policy, so it they have taken over. The store is safe money wise.
But they will heavily promote the brands they actually own.
I was in a SD store last week, as they used to sell Hi Tec and Magnum boots [Hi Tek own Magnum]. But now SD have bought Karrimor, they had no Hi Tec or Magnums in at all. And it looks like their clearing out all stock held via on-line sales.

I think you will find the owner of Sports Direct who also owns or has an interest in Field and Trek has now (and for a little while now) got an interest in Yeomans... This is the company who has taken over the Towsure Southampton branch I think.

If you need caravan/ motorhome supplies near Southampton, Viscount Caravans/motorhomes at Bursledon on the old A27 have a shop at their dealership.
They are very helpful. We bought our caravan and motorhome from them and have our servicing done by them.
hi gary i told everyone this a week ago nobody listens to me all owned by mike ashley who has 51% shares in yeomans i believe its going up under a new trading name from what i have heard
We were there last year looking for a new sleeping bag , the staff at the time were very helpful but you could tell then the shop needed a revamp. Hopefully it won't turn into another sports direct style of shop.
I was there about 2 hours ago and was surprised to find it had changed hands to Yeomans as the staff were still wearing Towsure branded clothing and the Towsure sign was still up.
Before I was aware of the change I was immediately aware that there was much less stock and the store had changed around. There were fewer awnings (if any??) upstairs and I was very disappointed with the general look of the store.
The staff, one member in particular, was very outspoken about the new owners and there was a general air of confusion and resignation among the staff.
I was told that Yeomans were going to "try" to stock caravan parts but that they were generally tent people so they didn't have much experience … it didn't fill me with confidence,
I thought that the stock levels were low and the new stock, the camping chairs, for instance, which we were looking for, were inferior and there was less choice.
Overall I was disappointed, I'd say I would be more likely to continue to shop online with Towsure rather than go back but I'm local so I'll probably try again in a month or so and see if it's any better.
Dropping the daughter back at uni this weekend so will pop in and have a look round.
Had an expensive trip to Atwools this weekend, so maybe just window shopping though!
Towsure Southampton has been taken over by Yeomans camping, and will be operating as their first Caravan supporting store. When I visited a couple of weeks ago they seem to have a lot more clothes and shoes/boots. They are still selling the stock they took over from Towsure but to assist the cashier take a Towsure caterlogue with you. They do give discount for Camping and Caravan club.
That's answered some of the questions about the place. I was also there a couple of days ago. There is now a much larger clothing department and (at the moment at least) a smaller camping and caravanning section. I agree that it is worth waiting to see what happens in the next month or two. Caravan supplies are getting thin on the ground here in the central south.

Hiya. Yeomans have asked me to add this to the thread:
Yeomans have taken over the Store and continue to Trade with all the existing Caravanning and Camping Brands and in addition now stock a vast variety of Walking and Camping equipment from brands such as Regatta, Karrimor, Coleman and Craghopper.
It has been taken over by Yeomans who will continue to trade under thenTowsure name for six months (I was told this in store six weeks ago). You still get 5% off for CC members. Stock levels are different and they do produce a catalogue I was told.
Hmm, interesting developments. I hope this doesn't impact on the other Towsure stores or their online shopping. Towsure Sheffield is the only place I can go and actually pick up decent pegs and those little nik naks you need when camping. I know you can buy online, but its always good to see and hold what you're going to buy.
