Any tv will work and a standard house areil will work as good as any fancy high priced set up.

Sorry alpiner, have to disagree, an active terrestrial TV antenna will give better results when the signal is weak, even the addition of a masthead amp can make a big difference when using a bog std antenna.
But in strong signal areas you are correct in what you say.
