I have an attic that looks like a camping shop. I have lots of choices but there are things I find myself reaching for more often than other things.
And my favourite and most reached for piece of camping equipment is a small table called the Coleman Mini Table. It has a mesh shelf underneath, which holds suncream (ha!) decks of cards, books, phones and all the other little things that clutter up space. The table is the right height to eat from as camping chairs tend to be a bit low - and it sits between two chairs of an evening and is the perfect height for the bottle of beer to go from table to mouth in one easy arm swing.
It's a sitting height kitchen at times when I'm travelling light. It folds in half and has a handle so it's easy to carry, not much bigger than a laptop.

Geoff I love the irony that you have glass jars and even an ornate mirror, but still take tin mugs. Anything else just wouldn't be camping
Well you gotta look like your roughing it a bit when sitting outside the tent having a cuppa. Geoff
Dan and Ange - we have a similar one (by Quest) which you can see in my top profile pic: we use it as a kind of 'sideboard' in the big tent for magazines etc but it's good for short/light trips as Campernic says. Tip: don't leave it out in the rain...glue underneath the table top from the clips that store the legs tends to come unstuck
Not what you think. It is a self extinguishing ashtray. Looks like a travel cup but the lid is an ashtray. Fits in my chair cup holder and keeps smell and ciggie douts at bay.
Nothing worse than cigarette butts on the grass. I am not proud of being a smoker but needs must.

I got a Handi Holdall and very pleased with it. I went for a bag over a box because it was easier to store.
