A couple of firelighters...then the firebasket...then four to 10 heatbeads depending on the furnace level you require ;) Light with a long match or long  lighter. Let them catch and fire up. Then just wait for the flames to go and you will see them changing colour to greyish underneath. Time to put the grill etc and lid on to heat up. Bingo!

I know how you feel, we got ours at xmas too and a lovely woman at our local Tesco's moved heaven and earth to find me some as they didn't have any BBQ/picnic stuff in their shops in time for Easter meet!!! She found me some left over from last year in the darkest corners of their warehouse!

I also bought that disposable BBQ from Tesco at the Glamorgan meet this w/end for £1.98, they are £4.95 in Towsure.
