I second the hot water bottles!

Didn't take them to France last year, and then it was blummin freezing at night. We ended up in Hyper U desperately searching for some, and extra blankets.

It's always better to be too warm than too cold.

Evochic, I am not jumping in if you already got rid, but I am in leicester, and hubby works in Derby, (until he's made redundant in June) on a pre redundancy budget.

we're camping in May and July, (see my toilet post) I'm desperate for all that stuff, been scouring car boot sales! If your things are still available I'd love them, but like I said, don't wish to step on toes!

I was going to recommend a headtorch, I find mine invaluable. You never know when you might need both hands to do something in the dark!

If you're using airbeds, some sort of insulation to go between the bed and ground will keep you much warmer. I use foam backed picnic rugs (they were about £3 each in Aldi) but old newspaper or a large cardboard box flattened out works well.
