Just remember the posadas has a bar down the middle. The vango adventurer double 5cm fits over the bar perfectly and has two separate chambers. I paid £37 on Amazon
Yeah it's the packing weight and size that is a concern! I have the Vango comfort 10cm thick double SIM and it is too big for me to wrangle down and deflate on my own, it's very comfy but a bit of a monster size to wrestle with and fit in the car!
I have used an Aerobed in the past, but it needs layers under and over it to protect your warmth from that cold block of air..... And it developed a leak after about 3 years, just outside of warranty period.
I loved my aerobed too until it developed a leak which we couldn't locate, as others, just outside warranty period.... Very expensive for just over a years use which is why we went to a campbed
Another vote for the Exped Megamat, I used to survive the night on a Coleman's airbed (cheap and cheerful) but after reading the glowing reviews on here for the Exped, decided to bite the bullet.
It's the most comfortable nights sleep I've ever had, more comfortable than my bed at home.
Thanks for all your help. We've gone for a double Vango Aurora sleping bag that we got from Go Outdoors for £76 and the Campbed with SIM is on the hopping list for this weekend. Now just waiting for the summer holidays to try it out!

Never mind waiting for the holidays to try it out...I would have it up and be giving it a try in the living room on 1st available week end...That might seem strange to some....But better than waiting for the holidays to find out if it suits or not!!!
