When I was a tenter, I had Therm-a-rest Luxury Map XL and bought their puncture repair kit and carried it with me on camping trips in case I needed to use it.
As far as I am aware, based on the instructions that came with the puncture repair kit, it is similar to repairing a punctured inner tube of a bicycle tyre.
Luckily, I never needed to repair the SIMs which had since been sold when I changed to a van.
Good to know the fault is found though.

Crossing fingers ... so far not had an issue and have had two Exped Megamats 10cm depth, since about 2013. They've been used camping and as overnight beds when visiting relatives. One is a bit slow to inflate and sometimes after a cool night they are flatter (but that's a scientific thing) rather than technical. I bought one in person, the other by mail order. I've not seen the complaint posts.
Outwell sell very similar mats (just a different livery which makes one think they are made by same manufacturer and just rebranded accordingly) and come in 15cm depth too. Such luxury.
I believe some recent luxury mats have better valves for deflating (there's a knack) but I love my Megamat and even more so with the Decathlon inflatable bed base (little narrower than the mat but not really noticeable).
I don't know if you're fishing for packaging info and joining mats to make a double (I may be casting aspersions) or, just that you have lots of money to spend on market resarch into comfy camp bed and into thick vertical sided sleeping mattresses .
Again, don't understand why didn't they utilise the pump's air inlet in order to help suck out remaining air from SIMs as this is the most common problem for majority of users - pack it up to its original factory size as opposed to doing WMA jumps on it to get it smaller (maybe this is causing damage to some of them).
