nice cup of tea an breath is an excellent idea. If your anything like me you'll wake up at 3 in the morning in a cold sweat but knowing exactly where they are !!!! I 'lost' both our sets not long ago and it took me a week to remember. once the panic haze had lifted.

We just picked up our new used van and the dealer said there are only about 200 different caravan keys - you just need the number from the door and they will have loads of spares that will open it. This, of course, doesnt help with the other security devices but it will at least get you into it.

Just been reading this post and it is highly likely that I could do something similar one day. So I've found my keys and written down all the numbers that are written on them alongside what the key is for.....and put the list in a safe place !   

Good luck! Is there a family member that could look for you? I can look in a drawer several times before I actually see what I am looking for. In the panic I don't actually see the item and its there all the time.

St Anthony is the saint for lost objects. The remedy for lost glasses, misplaced keys, missing wallets, was traditionally a prayer to Anthony, which might be even more efficacious if you promised you’d put a cash offering in his poor box. I have indeed found St Anthony often delivers, although there may also be a psychological explanation.
