I bought a magic mover off ebay with a 5 year warrantee £500, when it turned up it was a E-move guess it's the same thing with a different name.
Any way no problems so far.

I thought I would never have one .. but even the small vans can be a chew on... and I went on a solo trip so thought well best fit one.

After thirty years of shoving, sweating and swearing we finally got a motor mover. Its brilliant don't know how we lasted so long without one!!! Apart from all the serious comments posted, its good fun too!!!

My £1000 eBay bargain happened to come with a mover & it has been handy. Mostly it saves the clutch on the car when getting it onto tight pitches. I'm quite ok with reversing but a mover comes in handy at times.

Having a motormover extends the time for camping.
We found our super lightweight trailer tent (aluminium frame, heavy duty plastic sides) was getting too heavy for us to manoeuvre.
Going for a caravan with a motormover means we have had at least 6 years extra camping and should get to our 80s still touring.

Yes it might be macho to reverse into tight corners with the caravan but why bother?

I never had a radio controlled car when I was young, but whizzing the caravan around keeps me happy for hours.

We got back into caravanning a few years ago, our first couple of caravans were old and light and easy to manoeuvre, plus we're okay at reversing. Our next one had a motor mover fitted, we didn't need it but loved the fact that it allowed us to park the van hitch first if that was the direction of the best view-:) Next van was a twin axle, no mover, wished it did have as although twins are far easier to reverse, it still took about a 27 point manoeuvre to get into our allocated space in storage. A mover would have been handy when we were on a very tight pitch in France too. Just swapped the twin for a much smaller two berth, which already has a mover. Didn't really need it, but helpful for me to hitch up on my own if I ever had to, we thought. Then last week we unexpectedly had to bring the caravan home to store - thank God for the mover! We live on a bend, on the brow of a hill, and our drive slopes down towards the house. What fun that would have been reversing it on-:) Thanks to the mover, it got parked in a couple of minutes, inch perfect. Also hitch first for added security. Yes, it takes up 30kg of an already (some would say) miserly payload, but we travel light anyway. And I sometimes get control of the remote too!
