Can anyone give the web link for the Argos windbreak? I can't seem to find them on the Argos site.

Thanks,

Jackie

I've found them, they are called 'wind shield'

Putting in 'WIND' in the search bar brought them up.

Without a burp I must say.

LMAO at Jackie

Why do they have to call it a windshield? I know thats what it does but everyone knows them as windbreaks?

Anyway-we're camping tomorrow for the weekend so I shall report back and let you know how it gets on.

If its just something cheap you are looking for Poundstretcher have a 4 pole one for £5. The material is like a thin plastic/nylon and it measures approx 90" X 36". Got one but not had a chance to try it out yet, but or a fiver, whatr the hell.

As stated earlier you can use broom handles to replace broken poles but on my windbreak it was necessary to unpick and enlarge the pockets for the poles to fit through.

Drilling holes in hard ground with a cordless drill and cheap woodbit lengthens the life of poles considerably.

My only concern about the new designer type windbreaks is that they have guy lines to fall over. This could cause windbreaks of a more painful kind.

The broken off metal covered tip from our old pole made an excellent nose for the wooden man in the garden

Camperlands do definetly sell Windbreaks.

If you check out:

http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/directory2/results2.asp

Blue Diamond have been producing their original windbreaks for over 21 years.  They come in either 5 pole or 7 pole variants, and in three different colours.  They all have clips, steel tipped, awning piping - to fix to the caravan and are made from Rotproof material.

Theres a list of suppliers on there, which does include Camperlands.

If you bought yours around the time this thread was started, then good luck with said "conplaint"!

As they weren't "cheep", maybe you should tweet them?
