Well another old post revived, I have had my Thermos Ultimate Gunmetal 800ml Flask for going on five years now, and when the larger version came out three years ago I said I was going to add that to my collection as well.
So the Thermos Ultimate Charcoal 900ml Flask arrived today, the extra capacity will be real handy, and I like the way that they have improved on the stopper which is now a two part affair.
I would have gone for the Gunmetal finish again, but the Charcoal finish was around £5 cheaper, and to be fair is quite a nice finish so I am more than happy with it, at the end of the day it is just a Flask to keep hot water in.
The price was good at £26 which was less than I paid for the 800ml model all those years ago.
As with the last model I have ordered a replacement spare stopper, which I will probably never use, even the 800ml model the origianal stopper is still in as new condition, but there is always the chance that the stopper seal could fail, or the stopper itself could be lost, OK so a bit of OCD on my part.
Got both Flask's filled with boiling water at the moment, and will see how the pair compare in the morning, using my digital thermometer, I really must get out more.
