From memory SVB24 were charging around 10€ for shipping, do a test purchase to check that out.
Check with your bank or CC provider, re charges, using CC is probably best as you get more protection, somthing like the Halifax Clarity CC, has no charges for € purchases and gives the interbank exchange rate, which is as good as it gets.
As for bank charges, Metro Bank do not levy any charges for € purchases, very easy to open up an account, and can now be done online if you do not have a branch, or store as Metro likes to call them, nearby.
