Talking of mobile phones, a few years ago we were sitting outside our caravan at Lac d'Orient, and near the fencing edging the woods, when we intermittently heard a strange noise, but could not see anyone. We followed the sound and found a mobile phone in the long grass on the fence line. It was the ring tone we were hearing.
I picked up the phone and responded - it was the site owner and he was calling on the phone in an effort to find it. He eventually turned up and we had a bit of a laugh about it.
