All dishes and cups/mugs we take from home. We are able to stack everything in the racks in kitchen cupboard.
No more breakages than we have at home over a period of time.

Corelle and IKEA, mugs from home. Pack them in tea towels for travelling. Or in our case cupboards are rammed full so nothing much moves😊

We've just moved from trailer tent to caravan this year and are currently still using the melamine set we've had for the last 10 years. Anything other than melamine, plastic or metal in the trailer tent would've been a disaster but I have been thinking about alternatives for the caravan. That said, while the melamine set is still going strong I see no point in Binning it and buying something else.

Corelle every time . Not much heavier than melamine , but much nicer all round . Very resistant to knocks and bumps , but perhaps not quite as unbreakable as melamine

Take whatever YOU like to eat and drink from.

In my campervan I use the same mixture of bone china and Denby as I have in the kitchen. If it gets broken because we have an accident then that's the least of my worries.

Nothing breaks during journeys because I have made little cloth bags for everything which both protects and means I get absolutely no rattles.

Before anyone 'rolls eyes and goes good grief' at the thought of packing things up like this, it takes very little time. And in truth, it doesn't really matter if what I do is bonkers, we should all do whatever is right for us

Another vote for Oftast. Very like Arcopal but a fraction of the price.

paper or card everything then no washing up, or eat out, saves weight as no food either.

The melamine set that were issued with the MH but fine-rimmed china mugs for the morning's fresh coffee, bought from a charity shop like all our mugs. There's a good rack in the cupboard, so I wouldn't be worried about anything getting chipped - that's more likely to happen in the washing up bowl because we have a dishwasher at home.
