How about just using an ice box if your only going to use it for weekends. Something like this. https://uk.yeti.com/products/roadie-20?variant=30885309251664&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAiA_f3uBRAmEiwAzPuaMxpj1R76jx3GGwBDlRc-LeCGvOtltBbfWPoqaIYJM9jo4lay6Igr2hoCwFkQAvD_BwE

Will last up to 7 days with careful use.
Other makes and prices are available

The Iceytech cool boxes are good and a bit cheaper than the yeti ones.

For a weekend away though, all you really need is an unpowered cool box, with some ice packs in it, and some of your other stuff frozen, like a bottle of milk and some sausages for example. The frozen stuff will gradually thaw, for the next day of camping, but will keep the coolbox cool whilest doing so.

If you're going on a campsite, you can often get your ice packs refrozen, or carry a spare set.

Yep Jax365, that’s what I do with work, as I sometimes have to do a night or two hotel stop, my uber small 12lt cool box (£4 from Tesco!) takes seven ice pack blocks, so I hand in six off the ice pack blocks to the hotel kitchen staff, who pop them into the freezer overnight for me.
The one remaining ice pack block is fine for the overnight in the cool box, which stays in the boot of the car.

Fine for use in the U.K. as temps never get that high, we only use the Waeco CF-25 when we go to the South of a France during July for our fortnight Camping’s.
