Is the the George foreman grill and griddle that you use? I was looking at that one too but it's 2100watts. Wouldn't that keep tripping the pitch electrics ?

It's not tripped so far. We tend to use sites with 16 amps so probably wouldn't be an issue for us.
This is good to know as I have just purchased (primarily for use at home) the Cadac E-Braai. I am hoping to take it camping, but will stick to sites with 16 amp electric supplied when I do.
Love our Cadac.
We had the little safari chef before, found it big enough for the two of us and all stacks inside itself in a bag. The only downside, you really need a table to bring it up to height.
When we got back into caravanning again, I purchased carri chef 50, I got it second hand for £100 which was a real bargain and I love it as it’s on legs. Again, everything packs down into a bag, love cooking breakfast on it and there are so many interchangeable surfaces you can get for it. If you look after it it will last you years, we always clean it after every use.
The all singing/dancing Cadac, now rests unused in store at home .... great results but a lot of cleaning and it's bulky and heavy .... the GF was good but too small.
Now we use a large flat griddle style plate, three gas rings in the van and a Slow Cooker.
All easy to lean/maintain/store ... and cover as wide a range of styles as we want. Intending to get a single plate induction ring.
