It all depends on the caravan ariel. The UFO style is rubbish. Last year I threw mine in the bin and replaced it with Status 570. Great signal over many trips even in the deepest valley. All free view channels. Big bonus points for me from the Mrs.

Freeview will vary across the country depending on where you are situated. It can also vary on different pitches on a site.

At home we are between 2 main transmitters but have to use a local one which a very much reduced selection of channels due to ther main ones being so far away and hidden by hills.

Every house has a sat dish.

It is flat with the LNB at the back so less likely to get damaged in transit. I use it with a Humax freesat receiver.

Even when there is no TV, radio or phone reception, the antenna can pick up a signal if it can see the sky to the south east
