Adding a small rider: I always check the site tumble drier if I have to use it. (Not all sites have a whirligig / drying line & bedding is too big to hang inside our MH washroom). There’s usually an inch thick wad of fluff on the mesh filter inside the door: very satisfying to peel it off. No idea why people don’t clean the filter like they do at home? Unlikely but possible for a fire to start here, but it’s certainly less efficient at drying.

We have had one for about 8 years now. Its just me and the OH. We also normally travel light wearing T shirts short and small etc.

We have washed almost everything in the machine, from clothes, towels and bed linen depending on how long we are away. It works well for us

This is the one we have

Potable washing machine

Although it looks good, it would be a hassle to cart around unless you are on a seasonal site that is unmetered. Then there is the hassle of filling it and the disposing of the waste water. The cost of it is the equivalent of 25 washes on a site. I think we would rather pay the £5 -£6 and sue the site facilities. Just our choice.
