The reason I wanted to get a double self inflating mattress is to put under seating cushions in confortmatic when it's made up into a bed. As we're both biiiig people the seat cushions condense well and don't provide enough "support".

Hi all, Just bid for two small double bed sized ...double height air beds..Intex ones that self inflate.....these are small enough to fit into my 135mm bedroom tent. There are others available...Search on Ebay for Air beds and look out for Cyber-Checkout...He sells these all the time so if you bid I think you will get....At the moment these are coming with free fleecy type of blanket too. Useful for those colder nights.Price I paid for them is £25 plus 7.95 p&p.....I did loadsa searchin for these cos most of the double height mattresses come bigger and wont fit my bedroom tent. Bigger are also available from this seller and are called Queen size. I needed the double height for my daughter (she is in wheelchair and has to transfer from chair to bed so anythng lower would be a nightmare) Only time will tell if they are up to the job.

We decided to buy the Millets (StormShield) mats in the end, and they are really comfy.  They're £30 each, so mid price, and they can be folded lengthwise before rolling up so they pack much smaller. Also, the stuff sack is fleece lined so you can put clothes in it and use as a pillow.
