HI

I get my jogging bottom's from M&S they have boot cut legs so dont look like jogging bottom's and are really comfy with elasticated waist, dry pretty good to, short's if its warm and T shirts and thin fleecey tops. use to take a nice pair of pants and top for I we went to a resturant but never ended up wearing them so dont bother now.

We too have no money left for clothes now that we have bought all our campping gear. Wellies, flip flops, fleeces and cagoules all make an appearance with whatever trousers/shorts we can find. We take our old clothes and don't worry about what we look like when camping

We do a lot of walking while we are away, so standard daytime camping gear for us are zip off activity trousers and wicking tops (like the Coolmax ones that you can get at Millets / Blacks etc). These have the added advantage for camping that they dry really quickly and don't get creased - wash and wear.

I take a few smart casual clothes too - trousers and tops for if we make a trip to a pub / restaurant.

Other staples are obviously the windproof fleece, waterproof jacket and waterproof shoes.

We regulaly shop at a store called Soccer Sports.  It is incredibly cheap and we tend to stock up on Polo shirts, T shirts, jog bottoms, Shorts and 3/4 length trousers and most of them are never anymore than £5 so don't matter if they get ruined.  Don't know if theres one in your area??  We also take Fleeces and have a good pair of walking sandals for the summer thats probably the most expensive thing.

Take whatever you feel comfy in!!!

I'm with Skatty!  Complete Chav (so the boyfriend calls me..he gets a swift kick up the Kaiber!!.  Combats,  trainers (tho i made the mistake of wearing my new WHITE & pink Buffalos last time..BIG MISTAKE..NEVER TO BE REPEATED!!!!  NEVER WEAR WHITE WHEN UNDER CANVAS......and zip ups/hoodies, tshirts etc etc...You may be camping but you never know WHO you are likely to bump into!!!    Even on the early morning treck to the loos.  Imagine my horror when he suggested i go over in the rain wearing a BIN BAG!!!  (We camped on an island so we had to pack light!)  ( I wouldn't have minded but it meant me going past the sexy Site Warden on his Narrow Boat).  vanity aside...i take all my old set of clothes and a couple of nice things for when we venture out somewhere for the day....& 3/4 length trousers just in case a mercy dash through the long wet muddy field is called for.

Always flipflops to the shower.  Nothing worse than wet socks in trainers..

Whoever said drinking & driving don't mix wasn't entirely correct. They mix, just not very well, unless you are looking at driving into a wall & not remembering it the next day, then they mix just fine.

Cropped trousers - good - don't trail in wet shower areas or when the grass is bit longer than you'd like and it's rained.

Sport sandals/ flip flops, trainers

A ight fleece - will keep you dry as well as warm

t shirts

Don't get too worried about how it all looks - everyone is really casual and who cares?

T-shirt, zip off regatta trousers / shourst for the poor weather in summer.... just shorts for the good weather in summer (tshirt optional :-) )... shorts / heavy loose fit combats for winter along with tshirt / jumper / fleece / stadium jacket for cold jan nights.... waterproofs whenever necessary.

i wear goretex boots mainly, althought if it is really hot and dry i tend to be bare foot when around camp.

Look in my profile. I'm the one wearing the shirt made out of the kitchen curtains.

DON'T NEED A FLAG TO FIND TENT ON SITE,

p.s. hate creases, wife irons shirts on wok
