But doesn't that apply to the contents of trailers too? So why would a load of gear under a tarp on the roof be any different? I'd be more nervous about a trailer as it is easier to access closer to the ground.

Now which way round should you put a top box on. Blunt end or sharp end first. after All fish are blunt at the front and sharp at the back and they are very aero-dynamic.

Sharp end to front and blunt to back they're shaped like a wedge - like so many cars have also this basic shape - its the drag at the back that slow you down other wise.

am trying to get bars and box but everytime i go to look they tell me a difrent fitting is needed for my car a toyota carolla so i think ill give it up as bad job and look for a bigger trailer
