Hi Beeny, I think I'd ring the place you got it from and ask them if there's a certain type of gas or pressure that you have to use.  I know some gas items from abroad use a different kind.  A friend of ours purchased a 3-way fridge in Holland and had to have it converted in some way.

Hi
We have the Cadac and have successfully cooked a "roast" chicken, did not take any longer than conventional oven.
Chicken risotto is amazing, throw everything in after you have just seared both sides of chicken.
We have just bought a Pizza stone for the Cadac, don't think we will ever put a Pizza in a normal oven again. Need to add the Pizza's we have cooked are the ready to cook ones we had not made from scratch.
In answer to will it cook for 4,easy we did the risotto for 6.
Love the Cadac. We even put frozen fish and chips in it.
hope this helps.
Sue

We have had a Safari Chef for several years now and wouldn't be without it. I usually cook with the "lid" on as I find that things cook quicker and don't get all dried up like they tend to do on a conventional BBQ.
We bought the roasting pan for ours and find it to be a really useful piece of kit - our favorite meal in it is "Basque Chicken" just throw in a couple of chicken quarters, some chopped chorizo, a chopped onion, some diced carrots and potatoes, a clove of garlic, a tin of chopped tomatoes and a pint of chicken stock........then put the lid on and let it cook for 45 mins to an hour and you have a complete meal !
