"HI we had a scenic a picasso and now we have c max i use a caravan step to put  the 4 bikes on the roof and and one on the back rack. they are thule with locks"

Like Tattersall, I do the same with my Picasso, although be careful, the Picasso only has an 80kg max roof weight and that includes the bars as well.

I manage to have 5 bikes on my trailer, its an ERDE 142, with the hardtop & roofbars, I have the rails going in different directions, i.e. 1st faces forward, 2nd backwards, etc. works very well for me.

I bought the trailer in France a number of years ago, and it has paid for itself since i got it. Found this to be a cheaper option.

Where do you get bike roofbars for the hardtop of a trailer, also where is the best place to get a bike rack to fit on the back door of our picasso instead of on the towball???

Hi all

Thanks to all you have replied. I have now decided to go for a bak rak with extenders for 4 bikes and put the smallest bike in the car if we are not camping at the same time or on top if the car is full.

Getting the tow bar fitted on Wednesday and hopefully ordering the bak rak through here very soon.

Thanks

Christine
