Our cooker stand has 3 teirs, so we just use one of those! It is just the right height - keeps the barbecue (one of those hibachi ones that cost next to nothing) off the ground, but is low enough that the windbreak protects it from the prevailing wind, so the flames don't get blown about all over the place!
This exactly what we do. The shelf is of course large enough not only for the BBQ but also for the cooking bits and pieces too. Just the right height to be able to sit in an armchair and 'tend' the BBQ, then when the food has cooked, stoke it up and pull up the chairs around it for an 'unofficial campfire'.
Hi Sarah & Cat, Although I've seen the tour list I hadn't noticed Brosely, was be-moaning the fact that they never seem to come anywhere near me! I'd only need one adult ticket as I don't think the kids would be interested. (They think I'm bonkers)
You poor thing off to kefalonia! It's beautiful, so many weird and wonderful things to see, natural phenomenon moxtly, make sure you get out and about. they've played Broseley before so maybe next time......
Thanks Sarah, have e-mailed you back. Shame you'll have to miss it Cat but I'm sure you'll enjoy your holiday. You could always come with me to Trowbridge Pump Festival instead in July.
Apologies for hijacking your thread on barbecues, Siany.
