how much are the loos to buy
£90.28 - they are good (I've got one), but if you are looking to save pennies then all you need are the WAG bags and a suitable container - luggable loo, bucket whatever suits.
Sorry Marie, can't help there as I haven't got the tent we put our loo up in the living area of our tent at night and fold it down during the day. I've seen the video of the tent being erected and it looks easy enough to put up and tall enough to stand up in - but that's just my opinion.
Have just bought some of these to use in a luggable loo, mainly to avoid having to escort small kids to the loo in the night. Just wondered if you need to change the bags every day if there has only been 'light' usage, or can you leave it another 24 hours without being smelly ?
It is a very expensive system! Blimey. Also am concerned about environmental issues it seems to be a bit like added to the disposable nappy mountain that seems to threaten to engulf us!

Yep they're all perfecly safe for the environment and you can use the bags 5 times before chainging, I assume though it depends on the amount each time.
The lady I spoke to when I ordered my tilet and bags(which should arrive Monday!!) explained that they are actually military toilets(currently being used in Iraq) and they had an interest from the camping market and it's now very popular!

Can't wait to use it!!!!
I hope that Monday comes around quickly for you nitnat, sorry all i can imagine is someone sat with their legs crossed.
On serious point looks extremely good, a bit pricey at the moment (£90 for a seat, when a wobbly bucket can do ). We just don't go away enough at the moment to justify it.
Do you know I am not convinced by the environmental friendly label ... I really would want to read the actual scientific reports (not the advertising blurb on the manufacterers site) before I was convinced!! An endorsement from the Friends of the earth would convince me but it is not there. There are serious bugs in 'solid stuff' which require serious chemicals if you are going to 'plonk' them into the conventional bin. Also the price guys the price..... I go to sites with no loos can you imagine the cost of a week!!
Dilligaf - it's ok, I'm n ot actually saving myself till it arrives, but look forward to receiving it!!! Never camped before so every new buy is exciting for us!!!
We only intend to use ours for through the night and early morning as we have three young kids so we'll certainly get our moneys worth - a bag a night should be fine for us!
I know what you mean on both counts, the camping aspect is great and a good way to get away from the usual grime and labours of work etc..
I like the idea of the bag for night time, we have two youngsters and they have the knack of needing to go (at different times) just as we have settled for the night. But the problem is that we are already loaded up to the hilt with other gadgets.
